    Extremely disappointing experience with this Specsavers branch. I paid £225 in cash for my son’s myopia control glasses, which were recommended by staff as an important treatment for controlling the progression of his eyesight. I was originally told the glasses would take around two weeks. After several weeks and multiple visits to the store chasing updates myself, I was eventually told the glasses had already been made — but staff could not locate them. Communication throughout has been extremely poor. I repeatedly received no updates and had to keep returning to the store personally. Most frustratingly, the manager promised me yesterday that I would receive a call today with an update from management. I stayed home waiting the entire day and even rearranged other commitments, only to later discover that the manager and director were not even working today. This situation has caused significant inconvenience, wasted a huge amount of my time, and delayed my son’s myopia control treatment. I am extremely disappointed with the handling of this situation and hope Specsavers head office will take this matter seriously.

    I gave this score because my experience with Specsavers was excellent from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, making me feel comfortable as soon as I arrived. The eye test was very thorough, and everything was explained clearly and patiently, which made me feel confident and reassured throughout the appointment. I was also impressed by how organised and efficient the service was. The team took the time to help me choose the right frames without making me feel rushed, and they gave honest advice about what suited me best. The quality of the glasses is amazing, and I’m really happy with both the comfort and style. What stood out the most was the customer care. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about giving the best possible experience. It’s rare to find service that feels this personal and professional at the same time. Overall, I would highly recommend Specsavers to anyone looking for great eye care, excellent customer service, and high-quality glasses. I left feeling very satisfied and will definitely return in the future.

    I have been a Specsavers client for 13 years across different branches but my recent visit to the Brixton branch really stood out and made me want to leave a review. From the moment I arrived the welcome was warm and professional and everyone I interacted with was polite helpful and genuinely attentive. A special mention has to go to Saray and Jo who truly made a difference to my experience. They were both incredibly kind patient and knowledgeable and took the time to make sure everything was explained clearly and comfortably. As someone who works in customer service myself I tend to be quite observant and notice the small details and I can honestly say their approach stood out in the best way. They made me feel looked after without ever feeling rushed and that level of care is rare and really appreciated. The optician and the team member who carried out my first test were also very professional and reassuring and Antoni who helped me arrange my glasses that I previously picked with Jo was equally helpful and efficient. Overall this branch gave me a really positive experience and Saray and Jo in particular are a real asset to the Brixton team. Hopefully I’ll be back in no time to pick up my contact lenses and new glasses!

    Very friendly people but really bad service. I bought a pair of glasses two months ago, and after all this time, this week they told me the glasses I chose are out of stock. During those two months, I called repeatedly asking about my glasses, and they kept telling me they were on their way, that those glasses just took longer. During the two months of waiting, no one ever told me they weren't out of stock. Now I'm demanding another pair of glasses or a partial refund, and they're telling me the manager said no, but they'll give me another pair for less money. This is the first and the last time I'm going to buy my glasses.

    I don’t often leave reviews, but I honestly want to commend the entire team here and let everyone know how well they’re doing. I’ve been to this Specsavers multiple times. It’s always very busy and so much is asked of the staff. Even then, they are always so kind, patient, and helpful. It’s always a pleasure to come here. I wish I knew individual names of the members of staff that have helped me, but across the board they’re always fantastic. I’d really recommend them, and thank you so much!
